I was born and raised in Switzerland and spent over thirty years in Los Angeles, surrounded by music, art, and creative communities.

My home there was always full — friends from Europe and Switzerland would come to stay for weeks, and hosting simply became part of who I am.

When I returned to Sicily, I brought that spirit with me. I renovated this house slowly, with my own hands and trusted builders, shaping Casa California into a place that reflects my life and values.

Cooking has always been one of my greatest passions. Over the years, I learned from inspiring chefs and developed my own way of bringing people together around food — relaxed, seasonal, and personal.

Today, I welcome guests the way I always have: openly and without formality. Some days we share a meal or a long conversation, other days I simply make sure you have the space to enjoy your own rhythm.
